Located on Pier 5 in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor, this 6-story, 675 car, 212,000 square foot parking garage was built using 8 inch concrete slabs and 36 inch post tensioned beams. The tight confines of the site, which is located adjacent to the water on the edge of the pier, and the close proximity to very busy pedestrian areas along Pratt Street near the National Aquarium, Pier 6 Concert Pavilion and Harbor Place were a few of the challenges presented by this project.
